·   A great soup for a cold day served with some good bread     

          3 slices of streaky bacon

·         1 Tin of Cannellini beans or 200gms of dried beans soaked over night

·         300ml of water

·         1 Vegetable Stock Cube

·         1 tbsp flour

·         1 tbsp butter

·          salt and pepper

Cut the bacon into small squares and cook though making shore not to over cook. Place the beans and liquid from tin and the bacon into a saucepan with the water and stock cube stirring to bend in stock cube and bring to the boil then simmer for 10 mins. Remove from the heat and place the soup into a bender and bend until smooth return to the saucepan now mix the flour and butter together add to the soup and bring to the boil and blend together well, when boiling turn off and season to taste and let stand for 2mins and serve
