Venison Steaks with Port Sauce

Ingredients

2 Venison steaks

2 Tablespoons flour

Salt and pepper to taste

150ml Port    

1 Tablespoon redcurrant jelly

Place the flour in a bowl with the salt and pepper and mix, now put the steaks into the flour and coat. Take a frying pan with a little oil on a medium to high heat when the oil is hot place the steaks into the frying pan and brown on both sides, now remove from the heat and turn the heat down to medium to low add the port and redcurrant jelly and stir in well then return to the heat and cook until the steaks are to your liking (for me rare 10mins) and baste while cooking, then serve with sauce.
