Game Patties
Ingredients
400g left over game
1/2 Teaspoon powdered ginger
4 Dates
20ml Port
Salt and pepper to taste
Pastry for 24
Zest from 1 Orange
Zest from 1 lemon
Take 2 x 12 pastry tart tins and butter and line with the pastry and brush with egg and bake for 6mins, in a preheated oven at 180c or for fan ovens 160c. In the mean while take all the rest of the ingredients and place in a food processor and mix until roughly chopped, then fill the pastry with the meat mix and return to the oven for 15mins and serve with a little of the orange zest on top of 12 and the lemon zest on the other 12 plate and sever.
