GAME MINCE PIES

Ingredients

Pastry for the pies

700gms Cooked game.(cold)

200gms Chopped suet.

1 Medium cooking apple chopped.

100gms Raisins.

100gms Mix peel.

50gms Brown sugar.

30ml Brandy.

60ml Cider.

Pinch of allspice.

Pinch of cinnamon.

Pinch of nutmeg.

 

Take the cooked game and put it into a food processor with all the rest of the ingredients and roughly chop, then place into a bowl with lid and place in a fridge for one day before using. Take your mince pie tray each hole filled with the pastry, place the filling in each pastry cup and place a pastry lid on each mince pie and brush with beaten egg and place in a preheated oven 180c or 160c for fan oven for one hour, serve hot or cold.
